FCM method(Free Cantilevering Method)

• Overview

  Construct case-in-place segment gradually on every 3~5m from the both sides of the pier (capital) with post-tensioning method for upper bridge structure. Form-traveler is used to move the cast mold and for concrete depositing.

Construction overview

• After manufacture and transport steel cast from lighters wharf, construct well foundation in parallel with pier construction

  

• Capital construction in parallel with pier construction and construction for each upper area sag.

  

• Repeat the 2 phase construction to complete slab connection. Built ballast and rail
