Bogie exchange facility

Objectives

• This facility enables to separate/move/replace the inspection subject toward underground pit at the bottom of the vehicle for fast maintenance work with separated bogie instead of lifting 1~2 bogie, wheelset, and traction motor simultaneously in KTX train set (20 cars: 400m approximately) state.

Main components

• Dropping table main body (max. 400kN), supporting jack(4개*250kN), rail hatch, control board/pendant

• 

  Dropping table / hydraulic power pack / driving gear

• 

  Supporting jack (4 jacks)

• 

  Rail hatch

• 

  Control board and pendant

Job sequence

• Dropping table waiting on the bogie exchange line
• Rolling Stock enters to the bogie exchange line
• Support the rolling stock with supporting jacks
• Open the rail hatch and move the bogie to the workplace
• Descend the separated bogie and move it toward rail hatch line
• Separate devices including bogie from the bottom of the vehicle while it is supported
