Kim Sang-gyun, Chairman & CEO of KRNA, attended the 2018 General Meeting of Korea Railway Association on 27 February (Tue) as its new chairman. Established with the aim of supporting development of railway policies and technologies in order to contribute to growth of railway industry and national economy, this year’s general meeting approved the resolutions on Korass Performance 2017 and 2018 Business Plan.

Upon being named as Korass chairman, Mr. Kim remarked that “he will exert efforts further advance Korea’s railway policies by setting up overseas project support center to strengthen competitiveness of Korea’s railway industry in the global market and to provide customized assistance to Korass members with their businesses in other countries, by building solid network of cooperation with government officials and railway organizations of other countries, by working closer together with the government through informal policy discussions and seminars, and by engaging in active communications with Korass members.”
