14 Jun. 2017 Chairman & CEO Kang Yeong-il attended
the Rail Log Korea 2017, co-sponsored by KRNA and held at Bexco Convention
Center in Busan from 14 to 17 June. In
conjunction with Rail Log Korea, Global Smart Rail Conference was held at the
same time and experts were invited from around the world to discuss various
smart rail technologies in addition to presentations given by senior transport
officials from Egypt, Indonesia and Thailand among other countries on their
rail projects and investment plans at the GSRC’s Leaders’ Summit on Wednesday. On Thursday (15 Jun.) Malaysia’s MyHSR CEO
gave a presentation on Kuala Lumpur ？ Singapore High Speed Rail Project which
drew much attention from the participants.
Mr. Kang said, “KRNA will introduce the excellence of Korea’s rail technologies
to the world through the 8^th Rail Log Korea and act as the stepping
stones for Korean firms’ businesses in railway projects in other countries.”
