Rail Network Authority’s Honam
Office (Chief Hyuon-jeong Lee) announced that it would install photovoltaic
power generators at four sites (18,618㎡) of an abandoned rail line located in Naju City and
Hampyeong-gun in Jeollanam-do, and launch commercial operation in earnest on
October 14 (Tues.).
○ Solar Ocean, a private developer that was selected in May 2013,
installed a power generator (2,965KW) in Naju and others in three areas in
Hampyeong-gun and started operation after 17 months of construction.
